About Pacifico Yokohama

Pacifico Yokohama is a a large convention center complex located at the Minatomirai 21 area waterfront, consisting of the Conference Center, the Exhibition Hall, a hotel and the National Convention Center of Yokohama.  The facility is located in the western region of Minato-Mirai, Nishi-ku Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.  The meeting center and Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel were completed first on July  29, 1991 with an exhibition hall subsequently completed on October 12. On April  25, 1994, the national coliseum was completed.  The buildings modeled after a yacht sail and a shell are impressive from both
the sea and land.  The word "Pacifico" which stands for "Pacific" is derived from the Latin word "pacificus" ("peace" in English), implying quiet or peaceful environment.  Live CAM.
